Hypnotherapy and Self-Hypnosis helps people to reach a relaxed state without the use of medications. These techniques require an open mind and perseverance to achieve long term results. To begin the process, people should try and relax before focusing on an object and clearing their minds. The participant should use long gentle breaths to count backwards, relaxing deeper after each breath. The process is reversed when the participant feels ready to emrge from the self hypnosis.
